The Audi R8 sets benchmarks and has the situation under control all the time. Its supremacy is, however, deceptive as even a high curb or a steep garage drive can limit the R8’s territory. With the Airlift Suspension from vehicle tuner Cargraphic, however, the R8 driver can literally leap over the boundaries which have existed to date, without ruining the expensive front spoiler in the process.

For “existing damage” Cargraphic also offers attractive replacements and complete R8 aerodynamic packages in a carbon design as part of its collection.

The pneumatic height compensation system Airlift Suspension, which has been developed in-house, elevates the vehicle at the front spoiler by up to 72 mm. In order to protect the suspension, the process lasts just 15 seconds. “This also results in a cool show effect”, says Cargraphic General Manager Michael Schnarr, “particularly in connection with the radio remote control.” But show alone is not the remit of the “Performance Company”. As a result the Airlift behaves completely neutrally with regards to its driving dynamic qualities. Walter Roehrl proved this on the Hockenheimring in 2009 with a correspondingly equipped Cargraphic Porsche 997 Turbo. But how is this possible, as after all “air” is not supposed to be part of the good basis of a high-end driving dynamics solution. The surprisingly fast to mount Cargraphic Airlift is not an air suspension system, but merely consists of air bellows and a separate compressor. The former sit on the upper spring cup of an ideally tested BILSTEIN B16 CSC coil over suspension system and are only used to compensate the height. In inactive condition the bellows form a rigid frictional connection, so that the coil over suspension system alone is used – above 50 km/h the system lowers automatically. The small boot remains untouched by the conversion and the vehicle weight is increased by a mere 3 kilos including the compressor. Effective and efficient, just the way customers of Cargraphic like it. Unlike similar hydraulics solutions, there is also no danger of the insides of the car being ruined by an oil leak. After all, the reputation of the Audi R8 can’t receive a black mark on its white vest. Another considerable advantage is: the Airlift is delivered complete with a TÜV/technical component report and does not limit the choice of wheel/tyre combination. Thereby the customer can draw on the attractive R8 alloy program of Cargraphic without limitation, in which the company from Landau offers plenty of designs in 19 and 20 inch, one-piece or three-piece designs. Sonorous stainless steel exhaust systems which are produced in-house by Cargraphic – with or without a valve control system – are also available to round off the design melodiously.

Data about it is provided in many places today which come to say how proud the owners of this manufacturer are. There are in fact many things that make them proud.

The foundation of the company is on 14 November 1899. This is the date when August Horch (1868 – 1951) established the company A. Horch & Cie which was the starting point of Audi that we know today. This company was established in the Ehrenfeld district of Cologne where August Horch made his first car model. The car was finished during 1901 and in March of the next year the company was moved to Reichenbach in Saxony.

Two years later the company was converted to share-issuing company. During that time another change of location took place. On the same year – 10 May 1904 a company in Zwicka was established by the name A. Horch & Cie. Motorwagen-Werke AG.It is interesting to know that right-hand drive originated from the age of horses where carriages were used. The coachman sat in the right-hand side of this vehicle and that was lately implemented in the first car model August Horch developed but later Audi were the first to offer another solution which came to be really better. This solution is the left-hand driving. It made possible for safer way of driving because the driver has a better view on the oncoming traffic. All maneuvers are easier when using a left-hand driving and this is the reason why even today it is most commonly used. The first car which uses the left-hand drive is called Audi Type K and this happened on 1921.

The year 1926 is really significant because during it the first eight-cylinder car was introduced by Horchwerke AG of Zwickau. The Horch was the name of that car and it was the first German eight-cylinder car to go into volume production. Paul Daimler designed the engine with double overhead camshafts. They were driven by shaft set vertically to the whole camshafts body. This made possible for a 60 horsepower engine to be created.

Two years later in 1928 the first DKW car appeared. That happened because Rasmussen finally got the powerful engine he needed. That engine is 600 cc, 15 hp in the form of two-cylinder motorcycle unit.

Rasmussen got the majority of shares in Audiwerke AG. In 1928 and he made the DKW small car be with front-wheel drive. It was later produced in large numbers in the same company. This event happened in 1931 and the car had a wooden body. An imitation of leather was made on the wooden body and the old two-stroke engine was used to power the car.

Audi, DKW, Horch and Wanderer got together on 29th June 1932 to create the new Auto Union AG. This was a pretty big event because these 4 brands were the Saxon car manufacturing giants. Together they made their head office in Chemnitz. They were able to serve the complete production process and they made many models – even luxury saloon cars.

In the next year – 1933 at the Berlin motor show Auto Union AG presented to the general public the first standard-size passenger car with front-wheel drive. For that car a six-cylinder engine was used.

A year after that a new design for a better aero dynamical appeal won a race and it greatly increased the popularity of Auto Union. The winning racing car was based on designs of Ferdinand Porsche. The six-cylinder engine was installed on the back side of the vehicle behind the driver. That made possible for the less aero dynamical resistance to occur and less power was lost due to that.

A new head office of the company was founded in Chemnitz in 1936. During the same year the whole manufacturing process was placed there too with the main facilities for design, development and testing.

In 1937 a speed of 400 km/h was exceeded by an Auto Union racing car. That world record proved that this company made the most of their cars – lightweight, extreme engine power of 545 horsepower and a fine aero dynamical design. Even today we talk with respect about such a high speed and we could only imagine what a high-tech product these cars were for their time.

In 1938 Auto Union AG were the first to make crash tests. They wanted to see the different ways that could happen and this made possible for further and better designs regarding the safety of the passengers. This is a major issue in the industry today and we should pay our respect to the first one whom though about it.

Civilian production was interrupted because of the war in May 1940 and the company began production mainly for military purposes. Special vehicles were developed during that time which were more durable and with the ability to last even in more harsh conditions.

In 1945 Auto Union was wiped from existence with the orders of the Soviet military administration in Germany. The plants were dismantled as reparations and all assets of the company were lost during that process. In 1948 the company was deleted from the Commercial Register and 17 August 1948 is stated as its last day.

On 3 September 1949 a new company was established by the name Auto Union GmbH in Ingolstadt. Some loans from the Bavarian state government and Marshall Plan made that possible. The production process started in the same year.

Many events occur in the future of this company and everything that happened made possible for the foundation of Audi as we know it today. New world records were made and new designs were created. In 1991 design studies made possible for Audi quattro Spyder to occur and another good design with the name Audi Avus quattro.

In 1993 some aluminium elements made the cars more lightweight which was a tendency for many years.

One of the latest significant things that happened was in March 1994. This is when Audi AG presented a new car model – the Audi A8. This was a major attraction in the Geneva Motor Show.

The ride is smooth, the acceleration quick, and overall it’s a comfortable top of the line car. Even the stock sound system that comes with a BWM is pretty nice. Unfortunately, the system does not come with one of the most vital parts of good sound, which is a sub woofer. Sub woofers are meant to give depth and complete the spectrum of sound in a stereo. The BMW product line has a wide variety of sub woofers, car amplifiers, and custom speaker boxes to choose from for your car.

Custom speaker boxes are specifically designed to fit your model of BMW. Therefore, you’ll be able to install your car amplifier and sub woofer without taking up too much space, and without tearing up your interior. Instead, custom speaker boxes will blend with the interior of your BMW so that it looks like part of the original car. When choosing a fiberglass speaker box for your new system you’ll not only be getting the highest quality material producing the best sound possible, but you’ll get a light weight box that won’t add pounds on to your BMW. Custom speaker boxes work by preventing the out of phase waves from the rear from mixing with the in phase waves of the front. Therefore, when installed properly there is no resonance and a crystal clear sound can be heard from all spectrums. The BMW speaker box product line includes a top of the line Bassforms fiberglass speaker box for the BMW 3 series, BMW 5 series, BMW 6 series, and BMW 7 series. Look for an expert staff that will assist you in choosing the right car amplifier, sub woofer, and fiberglass speaker box for your type of vehicle. Complete the sound system in your BMW and fully enjoy your beautiful ride.

G-POWER applied their engineering and design skills to the BMW M3.

The main highlight of the G-POWER BMW M3 E46 CSL is the new power plant installed on the vehicle. G-POWER replaces the original six-cylinder in-line engine that pumps out 360 hp and 370 Nm of torque. The G-POWER BMW M3 E46 CSL now comes with a monstrous V10 engine capable of pumping out elicits 550 hp and pulls out 580 Nm amount of peak during acceleration. With this is engine, the G-POWER BMW M3 E46 CSL can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds and can reach an electronically limited top speed of 200 km/h. According to G-POWER this engine “surpasses even those more powerful engines from Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen or Maranello, Italy: 335 km/h is a quantum leap versus the 285 of the original M3 CSL!”

In addition, G-POWER also announced that it will install the new V10 engine on other BMW models like the 3 Series Coupé, Z4, X5, and the new M3. The German auto tuner is also developing a new bi compressor kit for V10 the engine to boost its performance. With this bi-compressor kit, G-POWER targets more output for the V10 engine up to 640 hp, or even 750 hp. G-POWER worked in conjunction with KW automotive to provide the BMW M3 E46 CSL with a high performance suspension system. G-POWER and KW automotive made the suspension system to adapt in the car’s performance, suitable for racing conditions. This model also comes with the standard powerful BMW brakes to stop the car during emergency situations. Now for the appearance package, G-POWER gives the BMW M3 CSL with its exclusive and the latest wheel designs called the G-POWER SILVERSTONE DIAMOND. This wheel comes in a concave rim design exclusively made for the G-POWER BMW M3 E46 CSL. Available in several diameters, 18, 19, 20, and 21 inches, the G-POWER SILVERSTONE DIAMOND’s unique 10 double spoke design showcase an aggressive stance as well as elegant appeal. Using the advanced technology of surface coating, dust and other dirt particles cannot stick into the G-POWER SILVERSTONE DIAMOND wheel.

G-POWER also added, “This wheel already more than satisfies the exacting safety requirements imposed by Bavarian manufacturers. They feature BMW stipulated run-flat capabilities in conjunction with approved tires! Furthermore, they are lighter in weight than the BMW factory M–wheels. The reduced unsprung weight has a noticeable positive impact on comfort, even in conjunction with ultra low profile tires.”

G-POWER did not release the availability and the manufacturers suggested retail price (MSRP) for this exclusive model.

Then buy the hottest Audi body kits available in the market.

With the onset of the movie “The Fast and The Furious” and NASCAR, many people are inspired to redesign the look of their cars according to their own personal style or preference. Buying body kits will help them achieve the look they’ve been dying to have at an affordable and fair price.

For those who have Audi vehicles, one of the first things to do when considering buying an Audi body kits is to browse magazines that talk about car parts, car mods, and car performance in general. Catchy designs, manufacturer information, styles and models are some of the very important things to note when thinking of the right Audi body kits that suit an Audi vehicle.

Many online stores sell body kits at an affordable price, you may check ilovebodykits for prices that will not put a hole in your pocket. And because you are already planning for a design upgrade, why not take into consideration other car maintenance jobs like improving your brake system or lowering your suspension for a fresher and cooler look? Needless to say that you shouldn’t begin any work or modifications until you have received the necessary parts you ordered. When you already have the parts you ordered and all the tools are prepared, then it’s time for installation. You can look for a reputable body shop to install your Audi body kits or you can do it by yourself. If you are installing the body kits all by yourself, you will have to carefully adhere to the instructions from beginning to end. Before installing, make sure that the body kits you ordered is complete, it is not good that while in the middle of installing some parts, you noticed that there are a couple of missing screws. Also, since body kits are sophisticated in nature, installing it might get complicated. Make sure that you properly follow each installation procedure. You do not want your car to end up with an unappealing look.

After installation, the final step is to get the body kits painted so that it matches the rest of your car. Most body kits installers will tend to spray paint the rest of your car in order to match the body kit. Spray painting heightens the risk of fire and suffocation. So, make sure that these risks will be eliminated using proper precautions.

To sum it up researching, preparing, and being careful in relation to the installation of body kits pay off really well; doing these things will guarantee that your car will always look its best, rocking and always shining amidst other cars.
